Creative Card Tutorial - Aussie Christmas Card

Aussie Sandy Santa Card Tutorial

We are blessed with amazing design team members at Uniquely Creative! Today design team member Ashlee McGregor shares a tutorial for creating this Aussie Sandy Santa Christmas Card!

Instructions:

1. Cut a card front from the Lime Card, Die Cut a stitched rectangle in Cherrywood Card and a scalloped rectangle in Avocado Card.


step 1 cut layers in lime, cherrywood and avocado cardstock with the stitched rectangles and scallop rectangles dies

2. Adhere all pieces together as shown, Lime Card Front, Cherrywood (Stitched Rectangle) then Avocado (Scallop Rectangle).


step 2 all the layers of cardstock adhered to base card, Lime card front then Cherrywood stitched rectangle then avocado scallop rectangle layer

3. Die cut the Lime cardstock with the CAP Essentials 6 Die.

4. Adhere all the die cut circle pieces onto the card base using foam tape.

Tip: for a template to guide placement, trace the negative card piece in very light pencil. (card piece you die cut your circles from).

5. Stamp in Ink your Sentiment from the Christmas Essentials on White Card, Die cut with the Sentiment Surrounds.

Stamp your on White Blending Card, Colour and Die Cut all the images from Sandy Santa Christmas Set.


step 5 stamped and coloured santa and presents in black outline ink, coloured with alcohol ink markers in red and greed and grey for the white beard, script font 'merry christmas' sentiment stamped in black ink, with 'merry christmas and happy new year' plain serif font stamped in black ink on a white card near the sentiment surrounds die

6. Adhere the sentiment along with all the images using foam tape and finish off the card with Uniquely Creative Pearls.


step 6 finalising the card, adding iridescent pearls embellishments, 3 near the presents on the green circle and 2 near the two presents on the second green circle, sentiment adhered with foam tape to a slant at left side of card above the green circles at top left of card.
